Gifts from China

China has invented many things. China has made paper, gunpowder, and fireworks. They also made printing technology, along with mechanical clocks. It is said that China had made silk, too. Will China make more resourceful things in the future,or do you think they are done with business.

Camels in the Desert

Four camels were in the Sahara Desert walking to find an oasis. One camel spots an oasis, but does’t tell the others. They stop and rest, except for one. The awake camel, that saw the oasis, went over to the water and drank it, saving none for the others. The camel died from over hydration shortly after. The three other camels woke up without noticing the other camel was gone. They found a small oasis and they all drank the perfect amount for their health.

My favorite thing with peanutbutter

Since I don’t really like peanut butter, I don’t eat it a lot. In my opinion, peanut butter goes go

od with crackers, specifically the orange ones that already have peanut but

ter in between two of them. I like the flavor about the crackers and that the peanut butter gives a hint of flavor, but not that much. Another reason I like the crackers and the peanut butter is that the peanut butter is less sticky than from peanut butter from a jar. Even though peanut butter is not my favorite snack, I still eat it from time to time.

Stranded

If I was stranded on a deserted island with Madi, Emma, and Brennan, we might survive a few days. I picked Madi because she says she is good living in the wild. I chose Emma for being smart and she could be reliable. Brennan is the backup for the food. If I ever got hungry I would eat parts of him. That is who I  would and why if we were ever on a deserted island together.

Describe the Picture

Since I have to go to see a dude who supposedly owns 9 magic, flying reindeer and a giant sleigh, I will unleash the worst cry if he even tries to touch me. We get in the car, drive, and arrive to see what some people call the jolliest man alive. When my dad went to go put me on his lap, I cried before even touching “the big red hairy guy.” The first words that the so called Santa said to me were, “Merry Christmas!” My mom took a picture of me when I was crying, then I screamed so loud that people in the neighboring building could hear me. I didn’t know what Christmas then and I still don’t know now. That’s why I will never enjoy seeing magic, flying reindeer having person.

My picture about the Hajar Mountains in the Arabian Peninsula is breathtaking! I don’t know too much about the mountains, but I do know that it’s not a not just a single sandy-rocky mountain, instead it’s multiple mountains scattered with trees. If I was there, I would one of the mountains, take a couple of pictures of the extraordinary sight. I would feel amazing being at the Hajar Mountains.

I would rather be with friends.

I would rather hang out with friends instead of being by myself. In my opinion, it is more fun if I am with others and not by myself. I think it is fun being with friends because we can do more activities that need more than one player. Just like apples to apples or trouble both need at least 2 players. They may not want to play what I want to play but still, I would be with my friends rather than myself.

Writing Mysteries

Arson

No one noticed that there was a weird looking figure in Michael Stefi’s backyard. It was 8:51 pm in a late April Ohio night so no one noticed it creeping towards the house. Slowly, it went to the bushes near the back and lit them on fire! Some neighbors saw the burning bushes and called the Stefi’s to warn them. The heat was so hot that it caught the wooden deck that was next to it on fire. The cops arrived quickly.

There was only one cop in the car, Officer Carl Bennue. He was the most unusual cop because he got quiet whenever he was around only a few people and no one really liked him. Michael didn’t like him so much either.

The next day, Jacob Lannerds was promoted to be an FBI detective and the first case he did was on the burnt house. Everyone wanted to know how and why the house caught on fire, so he interviewed everyone that was in that area that night.

First he interviewed Michael, the house owner and asked, “have you seen anything strange or out of the ordinary?”

Michael replied, “I did not, but Officer Carl showed up one minute after the neighbors called the police department.”

“Do you know where the fire started?”

“It was under my kitchen window behind the oven. The oven was on so that might be how it started.”

Next, he interviewed Michael’s wife, Jenna.

“Where were you yesterday at 8:51 pm?”

“I was out front smoking on the porch.”

“Did you go around back and throw your cigarette in the bushes?”

“Why would I do that? Did you see the ashtray on the front porch?”

“I did not, you’re going on the suspect list.”

“What did I do wrong?”

“I don’t have enough evidence that you’re an innocent. Goodbye.”

Jacob went to work the next day and told his boss, Robert Hyshin, “I have one suspect and kind of innocent. Michael Stefi is the kind of innocent and Jenna Stefi is the suspect.”

“Describe “with kind of innocence,” Robert said, “What do you mean by that?”

“A kind of suspect is what I call someone who did it or not and if they did it on purpose.”

“What do you mean on purpose?”

“If the kind of suspect committed the crime or if it was an accident.”

“Ok, ok I get it now. Now tell me how Jenna is a suspect.”

“She smokes, has a lighter, and she says there was an ashtray on the front porch, but when I went to go up there to see if there was any evidence the ashtray was not there. Plus, how could she not see the fire if it was night?”

“Here’s what you’ll do. You’re going to talk to her again and see what you get out of that. Then you’ll report her words to me.”

“I’m on it.”

Right before Jacob left he asked, “Just a question, if I don’t do that-”
“You’ll be deducted.”

As he said, Jacob interviewed Jenna again to ask how and she didn’t see the fire nor why she chose the front porch instead of the back porch.

Her response was; “I was going to the back porch until I saw a shadow looking thing and thought it was a dangerous animal. I didn’t want to disturb it and I have porch lights on both porches so the light was kinda blocking the fire’s light.”

“One more question, what did the shadow looking thing look like?”

“It looked like a human, but I didn’t think too much about it. Tall, maybe 5’10” or 5’11”. A little taller than you, I think, buff looking, I guess.”

“I have one more suspect. Thank you, Jenna.”

Later that day, Robert asks Jacob, “What did you get out of her?”

“Carl Bennue.”

“What about him? Is he a suspect now?”

“He’s the one. He burnt the house. Jenna told me she saw his shadow.”

“What proof do you have?”

“Listen Rob, I’ve worked with him for 6 years, I know what he looks like,” Jacob said, almost interrupting Robert.

“Ok, don’t get too snappy, I’ll talk to him.”

Three days went by and Carl confessed at court and the police found out that he had many identity fraud charges. Carl Bennue is not his real name. Steve McKurke is the real name.

Steve was taken to a jail cell and Jacob and Robert had to meet him for his past business for being a police officer for 6 years.

“Jacob, list some fake names that Steve has been called. First and last, if you could.” Robert said while looking at Steve.

“Carl Bennue, Paul Beened, Kris Gooree, and Thomas Inda.

Looks like this case has been solved!”
